We got a log burner!

Now winter is approaching we thought it’d be nice to have a log burner in the brewery courtyard. We also bought a bunch of warm blankets so you can cozy up by the fire with a blanked round your shoulders.

We had some large pieces of slate around the farm so two of them got cut to size and became the hearth and lintel for the fire place. 

The top piece of slate is about 2 inches thick and it took a long time and lots of dust to grind a 5 inch hole through it. We got there in the end!
